The Historic Stage Lighting Collective (HSLC) is dedicated to collecting, preserving, researching and demonstrating the technology, equipment and stories that have shaped the practice of stage lighting.

As a working collection, we believe that preserving history means more than caring for objects. By restoring, researching and, where appropriate, demonstrating equipment in operation, we help ensure that the knowledge, skills and craftsmanship behind stage lighting are not lost.

Working in partnership with theatres, manufacturers, museums, collectors and industry professionals, HSLC is building a nationally significant collection that celebrates the rich heritage of stage lighting while inspiring future generations.
