The Historic Stage Lighting Collective is building a nationally significant collection dedicated to collecting, preserving, researching and demonstrating the history of stage lighting.

By becoming a member, you directly support the preservation of stage lighting heritage and help ensure that the equipment, knowledge and stories behind it are preserved for future generations.

Who can join?

Membership is open to anyone who shares an interest in the history and preservation of stage lighting. We welcome lighting professionals, theatre practitioners, community and amateur theatre volunteers, collectors, historians, students, researchers and anyone who simply wishes to support the work of the Historic Stage Lighting Collective.

By becoming a member, you’ll be supporting the preservation of stage lighting heritage while enjoying priority invitations to selected talks and events, access to member archive open days, regular HSLC news and updates, and opportunities to become more closely involved with the work of the Historic Stage Lighting Collective. As HSLC continues to grow, additional member benefits may be introduced.

Yes. You may end your membership at any time by contacting HSLC. If you pay by Direct Debit, you’ll also need to cancel your Direct Debit instruction.
