The Historic Stage Lighting Collective (HSLC) is a UK-based heritage organisation dedicated to preserving, researching, restoring, and interpreting historic stage lighting and associated theatre technologies.
HSLC works to safeguard not only historic equipment, but also the practical knowledge, engineering, craftsmanship, and working methods that shaped generations of theatre, television, and live entertainment production.

Partnerships & Collaboration
HSLC works collaboratively with collectors, archives, theatres, industry professionals, and heritage organisations to support the long-term preservation and interpretation of stage lighting history.
This includes partnerships and collaborative work supporting research, public engagement, and the stewardship of historic equipment and collections.
